My work begins with taking photographs of areas I visit, which provide rich inspiration for my work.  My Textile Art and drawings reflect the movement and intense colours of my subject.

Savernake Forest is stunning, with incredibly vibrant colours that change at different times of the day. I am so lucky to have this inspiration on my doorstep and could never tire of it's beauty. These photographs of the sea were taken in Nice, France and Bude in Cornwall. The movement of the sea, and the colour spectrum and detail of the seaweed are fascinating and beautiful to see and to gain inspiration from.
